The Tax Professionals

What We've Observed

One of the best and worst features of American Business is that there is no entrance exam. Anyone can throw their hat in the ring, and while many fail, many succeed. There are some common themes to success, like hard work, boldness, consistency, and shrewdness, but there is no standard by which one can measure the successful potential business owner. Some of the traits you might consider essential are often only a small part of the formula.

Anyone who knows what it is really like in business will tell you that the prize almost never goes to the smartest player in the field.

What drives success in American business is the idea that ideas have value. The breakout crowd of Europeans that first came to the New World would often establish a farm to support the family and then move on to new territory before it was finished. Toqueville observed in the 1830's that an American would no sooner finish building his retirement home than he would put it up for sale. Americans derive pleasure from industry and invention. We are a people bred to devise new things.

The restraint on capitalism is regulation. That is our governments effort to insure that what you do also inures to the greater good of society. There is a dynamic relationship between these two extremes. The Free Market (Caveat Emptor and laizes Fair!) on one hand versus Capitol Hill (and Vote for me and live for free) on the other. For many years we fought the battle of Capitalism verses Communism when all along the real war is one of balancing the natural beaurocratic tendency toward socialism with the abuses of unrestrained Capitalism.

So, where does that put you? If you are in business, unfortunately it puts you at war. More social services means more taxes, more taxes means less money for growth and savings. While I can appreciate the larger sociological issues at hand the bottom line for business is profit, and our job is to make sure you keep as much of it as you can.

Why Do Business With Taxcite.com?

Our business was built around the idea that we solve problems. We often say that our real goal is to close the file. Many of you know what it is like having an open file with the IRS for months or years or even decades. Beginning with a narrow range of solutions for folks in deep trouble with the taxman, we have evolved an approach to managing and solving the complex problems individuals and businesses face today in a variety of areas. Much of what it takes to survive in our society is an artful approach to solving issues that appear on the surface to be a simple matter of mathematics. In order to apply the art to the science it is vital to know the unique story of each individual and business we work with. Rather than use technology to distance ourselves from you, we have adapted it to bring us closer, make our contacts smoother, and get you information when you need it.

We realize that the nucleus of much of your financial activity surrounds the tax code. Lets face it, a large part of your decisions about money focus on the tax consequences. This is often so much the focus of personal and business planning that the real central issues of profit and loss, savings and investments, are relegated to a secondary place and are often not addressed at all.

Tax and business management solutions lie at the core of what we do.

Large corporations have entire departments dedicated to establishing and implementing market development, and there are thousands of sources of off the shelf solutions for small businesses. What is missing has been an affordable and efficient solution for small businesses and individuals who need competent professional help from people that know the answers to your questions. Our strength is to see the big picture as an objective observer and give you good advice, not only as to what you need to do now, but how it will affect you in the future. We also lay out the true ongoing cost and impact of your decisions to help you make better choices. Incorporation, for example, may be a great choice for your business, but do you really know what to do once you have taken that step, and what it will take to make your corporation valid and effective?
